Choosing your accommodations: what to ask?
- Location: When you choose from our apartments, ask how quiet? how central? how connected? How green?
- Features; this is not a short stay; what are your deal-breakers and must-haves?
- Kitchen: cooking capacity? dishwasher?
- Other: Washer? Elevator?Freezer ?(None will have a dryer or AC. All will have good Wifi)
- Which floor? pets? size? noise? (this is particularly an issue in the hyper-center, where a gajillion students gather.)
- How many stars do you excpect? In general, we offer 3 star-ish, well-located and TESTED OUT apartments. If you are a five-star person, we should talk and look for a ‘custom’ chosen apartment
- Ask about our ‘Bring your own accommodation option’!
There are two variables that impact your cost:
- Per person occupancy of each apartment. Obviously, 4 persons in a two double bedroom apartment will be less expensive than, for example, 1 person in a large two bedroom, using the ‘cheaper by the dozen‘ principle.
- The type of apartment chosen. For example, the one bedroom #1(E) in the table below is a slightly roomier, fancier than the others, so is at slightly higher cost.
We know all these apartments well. Each has pluses and minuses. This trip is longer than most, which makes your accommodation choice particularly important. We would strongly advise that you book a conversation to ask us which you think would suit you best. We love match-making people to their optimal home away from home! Also we have kissed a lot of frogs, in our searches and feel confident that these offer good value for the money. In general the prices you are paying here are about 20% less than the same apartment on the booking platforms. We’ve been able to negotiate these prices on the basis of an 11-week booking.
