*There aren’t really any similar trips that we know about because the trips below are tourist trips but these are some of small group, educationally oriented trips that cater to adults and include reputable language options and some offer one’s own apartment.  (Most offer rooms.)  To be fair, there is a real range of what’s included, and many of these trips cover some meals, which we do not.  It is a bit like comparing apples (practice for a real life) and oranges (vacation trip) .  Except we think A Life in France™ is the only apple.  If you want apples, we’re not aware that there are any trips designed for A Life in France™
