- Everyone’s favorite complaint: French bureaucracy and how to survive it.
- The most important and overlooked question: How’s your French? (And how can we get it where we need it to be?)
One-on-one consulting: up to three hours, one-on-one, face-to-face on Zoom or a similar platform
- Community: The magic ingredient of A Life in France™ is supportive, knowledgeable community. This includes an online weekly ‘apero’ gathering with others — active seekers and local recent residents – mostly socializing + an online text-based community for discussions around course content.
Together, in conversation in the group and one-on-one coaching sessions, we’ll tailor a path that addresses your critical hurdles (language, location, cultural competence, visa/paperwork, housing, health, etc.) that can trip people up.
Together, in conversation, we’ll build up your courage and fortitude for the very real challenges you’ll face — by spending relaxed time with others on the same path, having the same dreams, doubts, and determination, we all become more focused and more resilient.

Highly selective admission:? We’re ridiculously dedicated to making your retirement in France wonderful, and, to that end, we’re passionately picky on your behalf.
You may not need this process; some people have done a darn good job of looking into it all, entirely on their own. We’ll tell you if that is so.
Others are trying to run before they can crawl and they’ll get to France and run straight into a brick wall. We don’t want that to happen and so we’ll continue to help in other ways, and once the Try-It-Out-Trip will valuable for those ‘run before they can crawl; folks, they’re more than welcome.
