A walk through a vineyard

Our library friend Anne is a member of an ‘association’ that cultivates a vineyard.  She has offereed to guid us through the vineyard and perhaps visit with some fellow members.

She and her fellow club members will take us  a tour of the vineyard before tasting the two white wines and the honey produced by the association. (There will be an opportunity to purchase the products. The visit would take about 1. 5 hour. She recommends wearing sturdy shoes (good tennis shoes are enough) and weather-appropriate clothing for your visit to the vineyard but I can adapt the tour to the weather conditions. The address is 6, rue Ambroise Paré, and the winery is located within the “gated community” of a monastery. We will ensure that the gate is open starting at 2:45 p.m. For those arriving later, I will leave my cell phone number on the gatepost.

 Anne has offered to lead a 20 – 30 minute walk to the vineyard, and for those of us not quite that robust, I can take that group by bus.   Provisionally, let’s all plan to meet outside the library…walkers at 2:00 and bus takers at 2:30.  (I’ll confirm this the day before…)  Please RSVP, as they’ll be preparing a tasting for us.
