Irigo app – this is the app for tickets for the tram

You can also use your cc on the tram, I believe, but it is a little cheaper to buy tickets on the app and then use them as you ride – About the only thing I had to figure out on my own was that when I use a ticket ( I buy the ten pack) you must click on the ticket and then clink “use” on the single ticket Once you press “use” on your ticket, a QR code reader automatically comes up on your phone. Look around near the ticket reader for a QR code on the wall and aim the reader on your phone at it. It happens pretty easily. Hold on, though, it is frequently happened that just as you’ve found the QR code in the trolley and are aiming your phone at it…the tram starts going….and you don’t want to be off-balance.
This code is usually near the card reader at each entrance that people use to register a ride on their longer-term tickets) You can also flash your credit card at this machine and dispense with the whole app. ( A bit more expensive but not drastically so. )
