THE BASICS: WHERE FACTOR 6: Other Stuff

This factor is a sort of grab-bag of variables that, in the end, boil down to the question, “Where do you feel at home?”

Location, size and setting of your ‘where in France  Are you a city person?  A country person?  Or something in-between?

Is there a certain landscape that dependably gives you a sense of well-being?  The mountains, the beach, rolling hills, a lake, or even a particular kind of light (Provence!) that nourish your state of mind?  When you look out the window of your ideal place, what do you see?

Your particular must-haves and deal-breakers: (in addition to the other factors we’ve already covered). Could it be a hobby?  A pet? Or a pet-peeve?  An unusual health or physical condition?  A passion project?  A spiritual, political or intellectual pursuit?  Think about the factors that made you choose the location where you currently live.  Those factors probably need to be in the mix when you’re choosing your “where in France” finalists.
