- Booking and Payment
- A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $500 is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. This deposit is refundable for 7 days after booking. After 7 days, the deposit is non-refundable.
- Full payment is due 45 days before the tour departure date. An invoice for the balance will be provided and at that time there will be a currency adjustment applied to the balance. The exchange rate upon which your prices were quoted was 1 Euro= $1.30 US. Should the exchange rate vary more than .03 cents (US), your balance due will be adjusted up or down.
- Cancellations and Refund Policy
- By the Participant:
- $500 deposits are non-refundable
- Final balance is due 45 days before departure.
- Cancellations made 45-30 days in advance are 30% refundable for monies paid.
- Cancellations made less than 30 days before departure: No refund for any monies paid.
- We strongly urge all our clients to get travel insurance. By returning the booking form, you will be required to acknowledge that you have read and understand our advice to buy travel insurance
- By the Company:
- We reserve the right to cancel the tour for reasons including insufficient participation, natural disasters, or force majeure events. In such cases, participants will receive a full refund but waive the right to any further compensation.
- Travel Documents and Insurance
- It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure all travel documents (passports, visas, etc.) are valid.
- Travel insurance, including coverage for trip cancellation, medical expenses, personal injury, and loss of baggage, is strongly recommended. Travel insurance FOR ANY REASON is also strongly recommended.
- Health and Safety
- Participants must disclose any relevant medical conditions at the time of booking.
- The Company reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone who is deemed unfit for travel or poses a health or safety risk to the group.
- Participants agree to follow all health and safety guidelines, including those imposed by local governments or health authorities.
- Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver
By joining the tour, the participant acknowledges and agrees to the following:
- Travel involves risks, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property damage, transportation accidents, theft, and force majeure events.
- The participant assumes full responsibility for all such risks, whether foreseeable or not.
- The participant releases and waives all claims against A Life in France™, its employees, contractors, and agents (collectively, “the Company”) for any and all liability arising from injury, death, loss, or damage incurred during or in connection with the tour, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct of the Company.
- Changes to Itinerary
- The Company reserves the right to alter or cancel any part of the itinerary as necessary, including accommodations, transport, or activities, due to circumstances beyond our control.
- No refunds will be given for missed activities due to late arrivals, illness, or personal choice.
- Behavior and Conduct
- Participants must conduct themselves respectfully toward other group members, guides, and locals.
- The Company reserves the right to remove any participant from the tour without refund due to disruptive or unsafe behavior.
- Use of Images and Likeness
- The Company may take photos or videos during the tour for promotional purposes.
- By participating, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your image and likeness in marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing.
- Jurisdiction and Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Maryland, USA.
- Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Maryland, USA
