I'm Jeff, I'm married to Viktoria for 20+ years. We live in a lovely Spokane WA now for about 13 years. Before that we lived in NJ and I spent my childhood in Maryland. We both are fairly well travelled through my annual work trips to the UK and Germany our ski trips to Europe (Austria 3x, France 2x, Switzerland 3x, Italy 1x). We met at a ski club in Hoboken NJ. We have 3 four legged canine fur babies: Molly, Frankie and Toby. I am retired as of 30 Oct 2025. I like to climb (rock and a little alpine), cycle (mountain and gravel), and ski (only Nordic nowadays).
I've traveled around most of the western European countries and they all have great attributes but I feel that the culture of France is perhaps the easiest for Americans to adapt too. Even though the language is different, the French are warmer and more accepting than many of the other European tribes.
