Community is our superpower. We regularly offer smaller communities that meet Zoom conversations and text-based support groups on particular topics. The idea is to interact in smaller groups, and connect more personally to people with a shared interest. Please indicate if you would be interested in being added to any communities working on these topics:

  1. A Life in France Online Course: You have dreams of living in France.  This course takes you from the dream stage to the doing-it stage.  Moreover, it connects you to the people and the knowledge that will give you a fact-based answer to that nagging \worry: "Can I (or we) really do this?' It will help you choose WHERE in France, and then offer you the key skill-building resources for HOW you, in particular, can prepare yourself to successfully have a life (full or part-time) in France.
  2. Find Your France Tribe: rental-sharing, co-housing & other innovative ways to have a place in France: (an add-on option to the online course) find others interested in collaboration. Share skills, values, and resources that make a life in France less lonely and more connected. We will try to match you up with others interested in a range of ways to share properties affordably. We'll also offer a skill-building and community-building unit (an add-on option to the online course)
  3. Try-It-Out Trip: Spring 2026: Learn more about our Try-It-Out Trips in Angers, France and get on the waiting list for our next trip.
  4. Learning French over 55+ We have partnered with a great teacher, and sponsor classes that are tuned into feeling GOOD about learning French when one is no longer young. Our teacher gets rave reviews, and classes fill quickly.. The Zoom classes are small, affordable, and with people near your level. It is a challenging AND kind, encouraging atmosphere. Let us know if you're interested, and we'll let you know when a spot becomes available.
